Church School:

Our program for Christian Education begins September 7.  Using the “We Believe” curriculum developed by our denomination, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Presbyterian Church of Madison offers classes for children aged 3 through grade 6.  The curriculum covers Bible stories from the book of Genesis through the New Testament. 

Classes are held on the second floor of the Parish House.

All church school children gather in the sanctuary for the start of the 10:15 a.m. worship service. They depart for their classrooms after the Children’s Message and before the Passing of the Peace.

Classes are held for the following age groups:

     for children in grades 4 to 6

     for children in grades 1 to 3

      for children ages 3 to 5 

 

On the second Sunday of the month, children of all ages are invited to join our Choral Director, Laura Kosmich, after worship. Familiar Christian songs are sung. Singing time usually lasts about 20 minutes and always conclude by noon.

 

Our Sunday school is always open to newcomers, so come join in the fun and friendship. Please call the office for registration information.
